Question: How are images exported from the Visium CytAssist instrument?
Answer: Run data can be exported once a run has completed and the user has reached a safe stopping point in the workflow. The run data includes 2 CytAssist images (.tif), one for each capture area, and the run log (.csv). Run Data can be exported via a USB drive or Network Shared Folder (NSF) by clicking the Export button on the home screen and selecting “Next”.
If using a NSF for transferring data, ensure it is been successfully installed and connected prior to export.
If using a USB drive for transferring data, ensure it is properly formatted (VFAT, exFAT and FAT32). Insert the drive in the left side or back USB port of the instrument.
Select the location to transfer run data files to from the list of connected options. Run data can be exported to both USB drive(s) and a Network Shared Folder. Select desired runs and click "Start Export". A green progress bar with check mark will indicate successful completion of data export.
Alternatively, users can click the Run Data icon on the home screen to first view run details or locate runs of interest and then export run data in the same way as shown above.
Additional details on exporting run data and Network Shared Folder set-up can be found in the Visium CytAssist with Readiness Test User Guide.
