Question: When do I need an additional Library Construction Kit C (PN-1000694) to run my experiment with GEM-X 5’ v3 reagent kits?
Answer: Each Chromium GEM-X Single Cell 5' Kit v3 contains enough library preparation materials to make one library per gel bead reaction (either gene expression, TCR or BCR). If you wish to make additional libraries per gel bead reaction (for example, if you wish to make both gene expression and TCR libraries), an additional Library Construction Kit will be required.
The number of gel bead reactions and the number of libraries you want to make per gel bead reaction will determine the number of additional Library Construction Kits needed. Each Library Construction Kit (PN-1000694) contains enough material to make 16 libraries. Please see the table below for examples of when additional library construction kits are needed.
