Question: What are the shipping and storage temperatures of Xenium Probes?
Answer:
Pre-Designed Panel Probes
- Product Formulation: Reconstituted and ready-to-use
- Shipping Temperature: Dry ice
- Storage Temperature: -20°C
- Expiration date: Listed on kit label
Pre-designed probes are stable short-term at room temperature (<8 hours). Discard if left at room temperature for more than 8 hours.
Add-on and Standalone Custom Probes
- Product Formulation: Lyophilized
- Shipping Temperature: Room temperature
- Storage Temperature: -20°C upon receipt
-
Expiration date:
- 3 years from manufacture date in lyophilized form when stored at -20°C
- 1 year from time resuspension if stored in TE at -20°C or kit expiration date (whichever comes first)
Custom probes must be resuspended prior to use in TE pH 8.0. Please see associated Assay User Guides for more details on reaction count, shipping, storage, and resuspension.
After resuspension, custom probes are stable short-term at room temperature (<8 hours). Discard if resuspended probes are left at room temperature for more than 8 hours. If add-on or standalone custom probes (in lyophilized form) are accidentally left at room temperature for an extended period of time, they are likely stable.
