Question: When do I need an additional Library Construction Kit to run my experiment with the Next GEM 5’ HT v2 reagent kits?
Answer: Each Chromium Next GEM Single Cell 5' Kit v2 contains enough library preparation materials to make either one or two libraries (either gene expression, TCR or BCR) per gel bead reaction, depending on the kit size (48 rxn or 8 rxn, respectively). If you wish to make additional libraries per gel bead reaction (for example, if you wish to make both gene expression and TCR libraries), an additional Library Construction Kit will be required.
The number of gel bead reactions and the number of libraries you want to make per gel bead reaction will determine the number of additional Library Construction Kits needed. Each Library Construction Kit (PN-1000190) contains enough material to make 16 libraries; each Library Construction Kit (PN-1000352) contains enough material to make 48 libraries.
