Question: I forgot my password, and I am now locked out of my account on the Connect. How do I reset my password on the Connect?
Answer: If a user gets locked out of their account, the designated admin can log in, update the user's profile, and gain access to their account before the lockout period has ended. Steps on how to update a user's password are outlined below.
- Login to the admin account using the Chromium Connect touchscreen.
- Select the Menu Options (hamburger stack) on the touchscreen's upper right-hand corner and select User Profile > Change Password.
- Enter the previous password and the new password twice.
- Exit dialog and log in to the user's account with the new password.
