Question: Is the rate of clogs or wetting failures higher when using the 3' CellPlex Kit for Cell Multiplexing?
Answer: During in-house tests, we have not observed any increase in the rate of clogs or wetting failures when performing Cell Multiplexing, even when targeting higher cell loads of up to 30,000 cells.
However, it is important to note that clogs and wetting failures are highly dependent on sample quality. If suboptimal samples are used (e.g., suspensions that contain debris, cell aggregates, dead cells, or cells larger than 50 microns), the risk of obtaining a clog or wetting failure may increase as more volume of the single-cell suspension is loaded onto the chip.
