Question: Can I store the Diluted Nuclei Buffer, Lysis Buffers, or Wash Buffers used in the Multiome assay?
Answer: The lysis buffer, diluted nuclei buffer, wash buffers used in the Multiome assay have RNAse inhibitors added and should be freshly prepared.
We do not recommend keeping the buffer out for a long period of time, as the components may start to deteriorate, evaporate, or become contaminated over time. Old buffers may not yield the same results as freshly made buffers. It may be possible to store buffers at 4°C for up to one week without the RNAse inhibitor, but in general, it is always best to prepare them freshly.
