Question: What settings should be used for vacuum centrifugation in the Targeted Gene Expression assay?
Answer: The Targeted Gene Expression assay includes a vacuum centrifugation step, in which the input libraries, Human Cot DNA and Universal Blockers are dried down prior to hybridization.
We recommend following the manufacturer’s recommended protocol for vacuum centrifugation. Drying time is expected to vary based on the instrument specifications, drying temperature, and volume of input libraries.
To reduce drying time, higher temperatures (up to 60 ºC) can be used.
