Question: How do I label cells for cell surface proteins?
Answer: Cell surface proteins can be labelled using a specific protein binding molecule, such as an antibody conjugated to a Feature Barcode oligonucleotide. For guidance on how to performing labelling, please see the Demonstrated Protocol: Cell Surface Protein Labeling for Single Cell RNA Sequencing Protocols.
The protocol has been extensively tested with primary cells (PBMCs) and has also been shown to be compatible with dissociated tumors/tissue samples.
