Question: How do I label cells for cell surface proteins?
Answer: Cell surface proteins can be labeled using a specific protein binding molecule, such as an antibody conjugated to a Feature Barcode oligonucleotide. Please see the Demonstrated Protocol: Cell Surface Protein Labeling for Single Cell RNA Sequencing Protocol for guidance on how to perform labeling.
The protocol has been extensively tested with primary cells (PBMCs) and has also been shown to be compatible with dissociated tumors/tissue samples.
