Question: What fraction of mRNA transcripts are captured per cell?
Answer: Depending on the Single Cell 3' reagent chemistry (v1 or v2), approximately 6.7-8.1% (v1) or 14-15% (v2) of mRNA transcripts are captured per cell. Please note that detection of a transcript is a stochastic event, and the majority of the transcriptome is captured as a result of sequencing multiple single cells from the same population.
