Answer: If this icon is displayed in the status bar of your Visium CytAssist Instrument, it indicates the instrument is unable to connect to the 10x Cloud. 10x Cloud connection is needed for both diagnostics and automatic firmware updates, which are recommended to enhance instrument stability and reliability, and to ensure the instrument can use the latest assay products, features and bug fixes. If your instrument displays this icon, please check with your IT team/network administrator, as a configuration to your organization’s firewall may be needed. The network should allow unrestricted outbound access to the following hosts:
• envoy.10xdevices.net
• envoy.10xgenomics.com
• 10x-cloud-saas-instrument-assets.s3.uswest-2.amazonaws.com
