Answer: The BEAM-T Assembly is a peptide-MHC multimer. It contains multiple MHC monomers. The exact number of MHC monomers per BEAM-T Assembly is proprietary.
The BEAM-T Assembly is generated from a biotinylated MHC monomer, a peptide, and a BEAM Conjugate (which contains streptavidin, a fluorophore, and an associated Feature Barcode oligonucleotide). Streptavidin is a tetramer that has four biotin binding sites. We do not disclose the number of streptavidin molecules per BEAM Conjugate.
The figures in our BEAM documents show one MHC monomer in each BEAM-T Assembly. This is a simplification; there are actually multiple MHC monomers per BEAM-T Assembly.
